 When animal die , they are broken down into

simpler substances by decomposers such as

bacteria and fungi.
 These simpler substances such as mineral salts
are nutrients for the plants.
 The plants absorb these nutrients through their
roots for healthy growth.
 Some of the food we have eaten comes directly
from plants.
 Many of these animals , in turn , feed on plants.
 Many animals depend directly or indirectly on
plants for food.
 The place where living thing live is it habitat.
 A living thing can be a habitat of other living
things.
 A human being is a habitat of many different
micro – organisms.
 We could not live without plants . For people
there are three necessities of life: clean air, clean
water and healthy food….. Because plants
produce oxygen, and retain water, and plants
form basis of our entire food chain.
 No , plants cannot survive without animals or
humans . In terms of energy balance they can
survive . Energy balance in the sense
(photosynthesis and respiration are balanced).
 There is no depletion in the reservoir of carbon
dioxide and oxygen also.
 If there were animal and plants from before but
they suddenly disappeared , then all human
architecture will last ,slowly crumbling until
they crease to exist . All of our statellite and
space station will stop operating.

Plants provide shelter for animals and they make oxygen for
the animals to live. When animals die they decompose and
become natural fertilizer plants. Plants depend on animals for
nutrients, pollination and seed dispersal. Plants are also useful
for animal home because many animals live around plants.
•How do humans depend
d on Animals
People depend on plants for food, clean air, water, fuel, clothing, and
shelter. Nearly all food webs begin with plants, the primary producers.
During photosynthesis, green plants use sunlight to change carbon
dioxide from the air and water into simple sugars made of carbon,

Hydrogen and oxygen

In this way nutrient stored in the bodies of animals are recycled

 Many animals depend directly or indirectly on plants for food.
Plants provide the animals with energy and nutrients. Without
plants these animals would die.
