 Warehousing is the act of storing goods that will be sold or
distributed later.
 There are three process involved in warehousing

i.e. receive
out
dump.
 Approx 78k products are carring in warehouse.

 Each product has article code and EAN number which changes

according to price of products.


 Biggest warehouse is in RAJKOT.

 There is 206 loading points in NAGPUR.

 Product life cycle should be 65% other wise not received. Life

is decide through products.


 Stock verification time period is quarterly .(yearly 4 time)
 SAP (systematic application programme) through all stock
calculation and verification process done.
 If there is any defect in product RETURN TO VENDOR process
should be done.
 Stock for sale is order through MBQ ( minimum base quantity)
process.
 In big bazaar there is three different type of stores i.e food ,
Non food( electrical), fashion.

 Speed of billing per product is

calculate through time and


quantity.
 Maximum 10 sec. limit. For one

product scanning means fluent


working speed.
 There are 13 payment methods .
i.e. cash, card, bajaj, sodexo, paytm, payback ETC.
Sodexo is applicable for only food items.
 Particular Product can cancle through more functions line void

function and cancle sale.


 If Billling amount is more than 1500 home delivery available if

customers want.
 There is EDC (EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT CARD)

In which , 30% discount in clothes


10% in food items
3% in grocery . Given to employees.
In hot items carry bags provide to customers.
