FACILITATOR’S TRAINING

Our Objective
. To achieve skills necessary to facilitate ECLP Teachers Training in

Acquire knowledge and skills in pronunciation and enunciation
of English words.
Be familiar with the American accent and intonation.
Use correct blending, phrasing and linking between words and
phrases :
S- stress; T – timing; A – articulation: I – intonation; R – rhythm
Achieve a near native or at least a neutral American eaccent.
Learn Grammar in a Creative and Functional way
Learn the most Commonly used 104 idioms.
Speak fluently and confidently in a variety of situations for a
variety of purposes and audiences.
The SOFTWARE PROGRAM
ENglishComputerized LearningProgram
It is an international software program for English
Proficiency from North America.
We are the exclusive licensee in the Philippines.
It consists of seven (7) software programs such as:

Pronunciation Power2
Pre-assessment Idiom
Pre-assessment Grammar
Introduction to English Grammar
Idiom – Lessons and Exercises
English for Call Center Agent (ECAP) – enrichment activity

Intelligence: Full development of all four (4) domains (listening-speaking-reading-writing)
inter-disciplined/intertwined in ALL SUBJECT AREAS/DISCIPLINE to reach the highest
level of mastery.
Effective communication skills requires all four domains of English Language
Emotional: A set of skills, including control of one's impulses, self-motivation, empathy and social
competence in interpersonal relationships.
Spiritual: The type of Smarts we don't learn in school. The understanding of life’s purpose is an
important but often neglected part of our intelligence.
Technological: A set of knowledge and skills that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their
interrelation with life, society, and the environment. The ability of a person to take full
advantage of the existence of technology and innovation as part of the emerging society of the 21st
century.
TO PRODUCE GRADUATES WITH 21ST CENTURY SKILLS
THESE ARE THE 21ST CENTURY SKILLS – the DEMANDS
TODAY’S OBJECTIVES
1. Administer all assessments required prior to commencement
of the actual training.
A. Oral skills presentation (to be scored using a scoring
rubric) (1 min)
i. Self introduction: Your name, age, marital/civil status,
family info, education, work experience,
hobbies.
ii. Why did you choose public instead of private school?
Iii. What is your teaching philosophy?
B. Written Proficiency Test (10 minutes)
C. Sentence Proficiency Recording (2 minutes per
sentence)
Pronunciation Power – Pre and Post Test Sentences
1. The girl said thank you with pleasure.
2. The red truck crossed the tracks very early in the morning.
3. The sheet has a green leaf on it.
4. Seven men played chess with their friends.
5. Two students argued in front of the school.
6. The woman cut her finger with the broken cup.
7. My sister burned the dirty curtain.
8. The pack of buttered bread was found under the bed.
9. The vendor sold black peppers and onions.
10. The patients went to the clinic though the doctor was not
around.

RULES
1. No one is allowed to speak Tagalog during the
“training.”
2. Put your cell phone on “VIBRATE MODE” and
be respectful.
3. FOCUS ON THE TRAINING!
4. A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION WILL BE ISSUED
to those who will be certified as ECLP
Facilitators(after 16-hours /2-day) and to those
who will complete the 10-month training (after
100-hours)

GERMAN:
It is the 3rd most popular foreign language taught worldwide and the second most
RUSSIAN
popular in Europe and Japan, after English.
To promote worldwide interest, Russia decreed 2007 as "The Year of the Russian
Language." Russian has been designated a critical language by the U.S. government
though, English remains the dominancy over other critically claimed languages.
FRENCH
There are 19 French-speaking countries in Africa and 5 in the Caribbean but English is
considered to be most important form and exchange of communication worldwide.
MANDARIN CHINESE
Chinese is an official language of the United Nations but due to globalization of
educational standards, English remains the most powerful and most critically
acclaimed language of commerce and business in the world.
SPANISH
With close to 106 million first-language speakers, Mexico has the largest populations of
Spanish speakers in the world. Spanish is an official working language of both the
United Nations and the European Union but notably aligned to English to be
considered “undefeated” in its worldwide PREFERENCE.
