• Receipt of material at Gate by Security, Security team do not verify documents
and material.
• Items directly delivering to users, which delay payments, stock record and
tagging of material.
• Delay in reconciliation happen due to discrepancy reports very late by user.
• Vendor may get payment against invoice as GRN is prepared against invoice.
this may result payment for non-receipt of material also.
• Delay in discrepancy report against the receipt of Bonded material may lead to

• Acknowledgement of material receipt at Security
• Coordination for material delivery to the right location
• Physical Verification/Count of goods against an order & shipping documents
• Preparation of GRN as per receipt of the goods
• Fill out damage reports if necessary and report to proc and supplier
• Contact Lab In-charge / User for material verification and acceptance
• Items are identified with the appropriate stock-keeping unit (SKU)
number (part number) & the quantity received recorded
• Product tagging as per type of material
• Barcode scanning and updation of record
• Hands over material to user/Lab in-charge and gets user acceptance on GRN
• submission of invoices to department or report to proc and supplier for non receipt of
