PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
The Individual Project is about understanding the context of pricing in your respective organizations and how
the same has been deployed keeping the basic context of pricing in place. The methods and strategies of
pricing as discussed in the basics of Marketing Management course stays and based on the same how the
market dynamics has evolved. The flow of the project will be; background of the organization in terms of
the industry that it operates in, the profile of the market in terms of organized versus unorganized, the
nature of competition, the regulatory issues if any that exists, the role of the customer (specifically in a
B2B market) and finally what are the pricing implications. The last point is more about how price
determination is done. The final price setting process and what are the factors on which price determination
process is based on. Are the prices susceptible to changes or they remain static?
Based on these points write a 1000-1500 word writeup detailing the entire process.
You could choose to be on PPT mode to illustrate your points, but remember there is no word limit there,
however the essence of the project in terms of comprehensiveness must be well defined.
