GOOD LUCK
In this unit, we will learn to :
1. Identify and use expressions to wish someone else on
their success and happiness. ( Expressing Hope and
Wish).
2. Identify and use expressions to congratulate someone
else on their joy and achievements ( Expressing
Congratulations ).
3. Act out a dialogue expressing wishes and
congratulations
4. Make short congratulations and prayer cards.
HOPE and WISH, are they same?
• I hope you had a good time at the party last night.
• I wish I had a car.

• Hope - to want something to happen and think that it is

possible
• Wish - to think very hard that you want something,
especially something that can only be achieved by good
luck or magic

• Wish - to hope or express hope for another person's

success or happiness or pleasure on a particular occasion
• Example : I wish you health and happiness.
• I wish i passed the exam
• I wish i pass the exam
