Guidelines in updating the status of students in
Learners Information System
EROLLMENT OF STUDENTS IN LIS
- FOR REGULAR STUDENTS
1. NSO (NOTE: If Middle Initial lang pero kasal ang parents, encode
as complete middle name then yung extension name nasa extension
field dapat)
2. FORM 137 (Do not enroll learner/s without sf10/F137)
3. FORM 138
4. DATE OF FIRST ATTENDANCE

(especially the status of learner in his/her previous grade level)
THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. During the enrollment of students in LIS make sure to check


his/her history
2. Be careful! (encoding of first attendance)
3. Update students profile
- Name - Birthday
- Parents Name - Mother Tongue
- Guardian -Address

4. Tagged CCT Recipients /4P’s


5. Prepare letter for Enrollment gap, Ineligible for enrolment and
Correction on student’s profile (attachments are student’s NSO and
SF10 – 2 copies)
Issues in LIS

• Pending Approval
- Enrollment gap – Enrollment Ineligible
Approved by the Division Office
• Pending Transfer
- Students from other school
Approved by the Originating School
Issues in LIS
• Correction of Profile
- Discrepancy from the following data:
Name (First name, Middle name and Last name)
Birthdate
Approved by the School Head
• Age out of range
Approved by the LIS Coordinator

• For Merging
- Students with 2 or more LRN
Approved by the Central
• Declined with unsettled account
-Students from private school
Issues in LIS

• No Form 137
- from public school
Adviser is accountable to transact to his/her
originating school
1. GETTING STARTED
1.1. LOGGING IN AND OUT OF THE LIS
To access the LIS, type www.lis.deped.gov.ph at the address or location bar of a web browser,
then press Enter.
This will connect you to the LIS login page as shown in (Figure 1.1-1: Login Page). Enter
your username and password, then click the “Sign In” button.
2. LIS DASHBOARD
Upon successful login, the user is directed to the LIS Dashboard as shown in Figure 2-1: LIS
Dashboard.

searched, you may now start the encoding
of student’s profile

FOR THE REMAINING STUDENTS

Click on the “Create Class” button to go to the “New Class” page. (See Figure 3.2-1: Create Class)
Enter a class name on the “Class Name” field.
Tick box to select a particular grade offering.
Click the “Save” button to finalize creation of a class or section. The message “class created” is
displayed.
Upon confirming that class/section has been successfully created, assign class to an adviser by clicking
on the “Set Adviser” button in the “Class Setting” page.
The newly created class/section will be displayed is as shown in the figure below when List of Classes
link is clicked from the Dashboard.
Click on View Enrolment button to start enrolling learners to this class.
