The study could be of importance and beneficial to the following:

STATEMENTS OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to recognize the influence of work immersion of grade 12
STEM students of St. Jude Parish School to their career decision-making.
Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:

 What are the demographic characteristics of the students in


terms of:
- Age
- Gender
 What influences the students in their career decision-making,
before and after they undergo work immersion?
 What are the rationales that induce the students in deciding
which career path to take?
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
This study on The Influence of Work Immersion to the Career-Decision
Making of Grade 12 STEM Students of St. Jude Parish School seeks to attain the
following objectives:
General Objective:
 To assess the influence of work immersion to the decision-making of
the students regarding their career choices.

Specific Objectives:
 To determine the demographic characteristics of the students
involved in this study.
 To identify the career-choices of the students, before and after they
undergo work immersion.
 To determine the rationales that caused the students to decide
which career-path they want.
HYPOTHESIS OF THE STUDY
The following hypotheses are formulated in acceptance or rejection of the
study:
Ha
 The demographic characteristics (such as age and gender) of the
student-respondents will have an effect in their career decision-
making after their work immersion.
 The work immersion’s influence will hold significance in the decision-
making of the students in choosing their career-paths.
Ho
 The demographic characteristics (such as age and gender) of the
student-respondents will have no effect in their career decision-
making after their work immersion.
 The work immersion’s influence will hold no significance in the
decision-making of the students in choosing their career-paths.
