THE DEFINITION OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

Descriptive text is a text which says what a

person, place, or a thing is like. It is a text that
explains about wether a person, place or an
object is like, wether its from, its properties, its
amount and others.
Descriptive text is about sensory experience
how something looks, sounds, tastes. Motsly it is
about visual experience, but description also
deals with other kinds of perception.
THE PURPOSE OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

The purpose of descriptive text is to

explain, describe or express someone or an
object, to explain what will be conveyed in
the description, which is useful for providing
information to the descriptor and also the
reader.
CHARACTERISTICS OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT
Verb used is the verb attribute, like be (am, is,
are)
Tense used is simple present tense
S + V1 + O/Compliment
Only focus on one object
Especially for description place

1. Identification : Introduces place, person, or thing that

will be described.
2. Description : To contain the special charasteristics
possessed by an object, place, or person described.
For example the charasteristics, physical
appearance, and other things written specifically.

Parasitology Laboratory in Poltekkes Bandung is located on the campus of the
health analyst department at Babakan Loa street, Pasirkaliki, Cimahi City West
Java. It is one of the laboratories there and place to conduct research on
parasites.
Parasitology Laboratory Poltekkes Bandung is a clean and hygienic place, this
lab is used to identify parasites contained in a sample, conduct research related
to parasites, observe the types of parasites both macroscopically and
microscopically so there are various types of microscopes here including light
microscopy and electron microscopy, staining chamber, practicum table,
preparation, water faucet, whiteboard, cupboards, and instructor's room. The
instructors and lecturers there are highly trained so that the subject matter is
conveyed well to students. When entering the room must use personal protective
equipment such as masks, lab coats, and gloves. There is a good waste disposal
system by providing a waste disposal site or rubbish according to the rules. Safety
is also guaranteed there by providing water faucets when exposed to hazardous
substances and there is also provided a first aid kit in the event of a work
accident.
