Our world faces a big problem that our future

generations will suffer because of plastic pollution.
Plastic is composed of polypropylene that makes plastic
takes a lot of years before it decomposed. So we
researchers make a study on how we will lessen the rate
of plastic pollution by using alternatives straw. Because
according to Hugh that 11th most found trash in our
ocean is a plastic straw in the year 2017 (Hugh, 2018).

The general topic of this is research about minimizing

the use of plastic straws in different fast-food chains in
Caloocan City. Alongside to knowing the effects of it's
in the environment. The specific topic of this research
is using indigenous materials to replace plastic straws
such as paper, iron, seaweed, etc. This research will
gather data to know if the alternative straw will change
and help our environment.

Our target participants are fast-food chain owner and

consumers. We will select a small size of participants
for the interview. The interview will lead us to hear
their opinion about the alternatives straw. To analyze
their answer and become our research more reliable.
This interview will start in the first week of
September. And we are gathering all the data and
information that we collected.
