About ME:
My name is Dragos MICLEA.

I graduated Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Faculty of Engineering


and Management of Technological Systems, Industrial Engineering
specialization in 2012 and the Master at the same university, specialty
Advanced Computer Assisted Engineering, in 2014.

EXPERIENCE

Starting with 2013, I joined the company FEMETALRO SRL in Ploiesti, where I started
as a technologist engineer and I have learned a lot there.
In the first year, I was responsible for making the complete product file complete with
execution plans, debit lists, control reports, for example.

Then I started to advance and was also responsible for:


- Track progress in product execution
- Design of assembly devices
- Programming all machines in workshop like 4 axis CNC milling, welding robot,
plasma and oxy-gas cutting machines for example.

For the supply department, I was preparing the necessary supplies of raw materials,
cutting tools, consumables.

EXPERIENCE

In my last year in the FEMETALRO Company I have come to be the head of the
technical department and I was in charge of a maintenance team and a team of
engineers. Also new tasks were added to me as follows:
For the technical department:
- Optimization of the machining programs with the help of designing the machining
devices, testing and proposing new cutting tools.
- Optimizing assembly by redesigning the workspace
For the commercial department, preparation of the complete offer dossier including:
material requirements, manufacturing method and times for each phase of the
technological process and making the offer for the client.
For existing products, I improve manufacturing methods to reduce auxiliary times and
optimize each phase, with the ultimate goal of permanently reducing the cost price
while maintaining the quality level.

EXPERIENCE

In the last year, I have also managed a lot in


investment, and for this department I have done the
following:

- Selection of machinery and tools, selection of


suppliers, launch of requests for offers and analysis
of offers.
- Complete remodeling of production flow for its
linearization (loop elimination), optimization of every
phase.
- Implementation of new machines, equipment,
introduced in a 3 million € in 3 year investment plan,
required to grow production by 200% in 5 years.

Proposals for improvement :

 All projects will be done on sub-assemblies with part drawing on separate pages

 The piping will be split into spools on A3 format by HPR with help of Naviswork
Software through collaboration between HPM and HPR.
 We have started an experiment with the ASORC project

 Understand current weaknesses and strengths, then reorganize department
