 The Pharmacy word derived from the
Greek word “pharmakon” means drug.

 Pharmacy is the art and science of


preparing and dispensing of drug.

The formal definition of a pharmacist
is, a person who is professionally
qualified to prepare and dispense
medicinal drugs.
