• Created an anonymous feedback portal called "Ask Vijay" where the employees could voice even their most
mundane queries and grievances.
• Tried to attract early talent through designed internships and workshops at premiere engineering institutes of
India.
• Had an employee network called "The Next Generation Network" to engage with early talent on campus.
• Had an elaborate frame work for hiring laterals called “Assessing for Awesome”.
• Recognized contributions of employees e.g.. celebrated 5 year and 10 year anniversaries. Gave a day off.
• Employee Recognition in form of redeemable vouchers called "Spotlight".
• Leadership award where winners were given personalized experience.
• Tried to create a boundary-less organization where there was different and diverse employee networks.
• Different benefits provided to it's employee e.g.. 6 months paid maternity leave, restricted stock units as an
incentive.
How to Build a Great Place to Work:
Hard Aspects:
• Framework should be built to review the talent and provide compensation accordingly. Training for the
underperformer and promotion/ recognition for the right talents followed this.
• Taking care of the daily needs(conveyance, food) of the employees.
• Special attention to the pregnant employees/ mothers.
• Build employee centric programs like "Intuit Again", "Intuit Ability Program", 5% NPS scheme etc.

Soft Aspects:
• The employees identified as role models should be awarded.
• A culture of “Listening” needs to be incorporated in the company.
• The leaders should be approachable for the employees.
• Employees should be given an option to showcase their issues/grievances, which should be addressed properly.
• Leaders should have an eagerness to learn. Learning can be from anyone at any level of the organization.
• Leaders should let employees to take decisions, thus increasing the sense of responsibility among them.

According to us, to become the best place to work, a company should give importance to both the Hard
and the Soft Aspects.
