Medical Fitness
Selected candidates will have to clear the pre-employment medical fitness test
before joining the organization
Candidates should be of sound physique free from any physical defect
Myopia & Hypermetropia (vision), if any, should be with in permissible limits i.e.
(-) 6.00 & (+) 4.00
Color blindness or squint, partial or full, will disqualify the candidate
Any major medical ailment will debar a candidate from being eligible for the job

Basic Salary and Scale
35% of Basic pay is paid as Perks & 24,500/-pm (*approx.) inclusive of Professional Updation Allowance,
allowances Educational Support Allowance, Transport Subsidy, LFA,
Medical, House keeping allowance, Fitness allowance etc.)
Over & above - Perks & Allowances 9290/-pm (*approx.) is the value of (Leave Encashment,
Communication, Accident Compensation)
Performance Related 30,100/-pm (*approx.) (paid annually subject to Individual/
Pay Business/Company’s performance & availability of profits )
Superannuation Benefits (30% of Basic + 21,462/-pm (*approx.) (PF, Gratuity, post retirement medical benefit &
DA) (DA figures updated as on July 2017) New Pension scheme)
*DA - varies every quarter
**Payable, if not staying in company accommodation and varies according to the class of city. For calculation, it is taken
24% applicable to Metros)
Salary Components (cont.)
• Employees are eligible for conveyance reimbursement ( less transport subsidy ), if they own
two wheeler /four wheeler and use the same where they are posted
• On confirmation in service, employees are entitled for Remote Access Facility, PC on hire and
Vehicle loan ( Two or Four wheeler ). Employees are also entitled for Furniture on Hire after 3
years of service with BPCL.
• Housing Loan is one more facility available for employees after 3 years of service in the
Corporation
• Good network of Holiday Homes is available across all popular tourist destinations in the
country
