Standardization of Homoeopathic Drugs
Objective:
1. Preparation of Drugs from Authentic Samples.
2. Provide the required parameters for Quality control and Quality
Assurance.
3. Ensure safety and efficacy.
Challenges:
1. Procurement of authentic sample.
2. Taxonomical identification of the biological species.
3. Biological materials are chemically extremely complex.
4. Handling of hazardous chemicals/biological materials.
Solution:
1. Authentication of the sample.
2. In depth-study with related species.
3. Segregation and proper safety protocols. 2

Proposed Proposal
Development and analysis of homoeopathic drug - A multi-pronged approach
Here we will address theoretical understanding of the chemical nature of homoeopathic drugs.
The work will utilize computational chemistry to understand the stability of the silicates that may form from the
homoeopathic medicines.
