Responsibility of Health Provider

Background
Health is a human right and one of the elements of well-being that should be
realized in accordance with the ideals of the nation of Indonesia as stipulated in the
Pancasila and the Preamble to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia 1945.

Doctor and the other health profesionals is one of primary component to give the
service immediately to people

Professional nurses have to face the responsibility of ethics and conflicts that may
experiencing as a result of their relationship in professional practice.
 Theory of Responsibility

Responsibility means: Reliability and thrustworthiness. This attribute indicates

that the professional nurse carries out the required nursing activities
conscientiously and that the nurse's actions are honestly reported (Koziers,
1983: 25)
Responsibility are: Application of legal provisions (execution) for the tasks
associated with the particular role of the nurse, in order to remain competent
in knowledge, attitude and work according to the code of conduct (ANA,
1985).

Responsibility: Mandatory someone as being rational and free to evasive and

give an explanation of his actions, it retrosfektif or prospectively (Bertens,
1993: 133).
