2 : 4 Binary

Decoder
Chapter 1: Design Background and
Information

- Binary Decoder is a device that accepts input in binary form.

- Has 2n outputs
- A decoder generally decodes a binary value into a non-binary
value by setting exactly one of its n outputs

Objectives
This study aims to:

• Construct a prototype showing the possible output values with all

the possible input values.
• Apply the concepts about logic gates through constructing a
prototype.
Chapter 2: Design Methodology and
Procedure

• In-depth study of the Concept.

• Gathering of materials.
• Prototype construction.
Chapter 2: Design Methodology and
Procedure

• In-depth study of the Concept.

Chapter 4: Conclusion and
Recommendation

The researchers therefore conclude that they have

successfully met the objectives presented which are the
following: they have successfully built or constructed a
prototype showing the possible outputs. Another thing is
that they applied their learnings about the logic gates
through constructing a prototype.

• In-depth study about the concept of 2:4 decoder
