 Summary
• PD 1151 is basically a law that encourages the use of all
practicable means without degrading or endangering
human life, health and safety or creating adverse
conditions for agriculture, commerce, and industry.
• PD 1151 is a precautionary law that requires submission
of an environmental impact statement on projects and
activities.
• Done in the City of Manila this 6th day of June in the
year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine
(June 6, 1979).
