Awit Ng Paghahangad

O Diyos, Ikaw ang laging hanap,

Loob ko'y Ikaw ang tanging hangad.
Nauuhaw akong parang tigang na lupa
Sa tubig ng ‘Yong pag-aaruga.
Ika'y pagmamasdan sa dakong banal,
Nang makita ko ang ‘Yong
pagkarangal.
Dadalangin akong nakataas
aking kamay,
Magagalak na aawit
ng papuring iaalay.
*Gunita ko'y Ikaw
Habang nahihimlay
Pagkat ang tulong Mo
sa tuwina'y taglay.
Sa lilim ng Iyong mga pakpak
Umaawit akong buong galak.
Aking kaluluwa'y kumakapit sa ‘Yo,
Kaligtasa'y t'yak kong hawak Mo ako.
Magdiriwang ang hari,
ang Diyos, S'yang dahilan
Ang sa Iyo ay nangako, galak yaong
makakamtan .
*Gunita ko'y Ikaw
Habang nahihimlay
Pagkat ang tulong Mo
sa tuwina'y taglay.
Sa lilim ng Iyong mga pakpak
Umaawit..
CODA:

HERE ON EARTH
“It remains for the holy
people to struggle, with
grace from on high, to
obtain the good things
God promises.
In order to possess and
contemplate God, Christ's
faithful mortify their cravings
and, with the grace of God,
prevail over the seductions of
pleasure and power.”

“Desire for true happiness frees

man from his immoderate
attachment to the goods of this
world so that he can find his
fulfillment in the vision and
beatitude of God.
‘The promise [of seeing God]
surpasses all beatitude...
In Scripture, to see is to
possess...

WHOEVER SEES GOD HAS

OBTAINED ALL THE GOODS OF
WHICH HE CAN
CONCEIVE.’ ”

It is of the essence of the
Church that she be
both human and divine,
visible and yet invisibly
equipped,
eager to act and yet intent on
contemplation,
present in this world and yet
not at home in it;
and she is all these things in
such wise that in her the
human is directed and
subordinated to the divine,
the visible likewise
to the invisible,
action to contemplation,
And this present world to that
city yet to come,
which we seek.

(Constitution on Sacred Liturgy No. 2)

“So then you are no longer
strangers (zenoi) and
sojourners (paroikoi),
but you are fellow citizens
with the holy ones and
members of the
household of God,
built upon the foundation of
the apostles and prophets,
with Christ Jesus
himself as the capstone.
Through him the
whole structure is held
together and grows into
a temple sacred in the Lord;
in him you also are
being built together into a
dwelling place of
God in the Spirit.

Ephesians 2:19-22
Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy

Christ Jesus,
high priest of the new
and eternal covenant,
taking human nature,
introduced into this earthly exile
that hymn which is sung
throughout all ages in the halls of heaven.
Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy

He joins the entire community

of mankind
to Himself, associating it
with His own singing of this canticle
of divine praise.

Be pleased to confirm in faith
and charity your pilgrim Church
on earth,
with your servant our Pope
and our Bishop,
the Order of Bishops, all the clergy,
and the entire people
you have gained for your own.
Eucharistic Prayer III
For your mighty deeds,
O God of mercy, may your people offer
endless thanks,
and, by observing the age-old
disciplines along their pilgrim journey,
may they merit to come and behold
you for ever.
Through Christ our Lord.

Sa ating topic ngayon:

Anong aral o mensahe ang

maiuwi mo at maging gabay
mo sa linggong ito?
John 15: 19 REFLECT
This would not be so if you
belonged to the world,
because the world loves its
own. But you are not of the
world, since I have chosen you
from the world; because of this
the world hates you.
John 15:19
“Kung kayo’y makamundo inibig
na sana ng mundo ang sariling
kanya.
Ngunit dahil hindi kayo
makamundo
kundi hinirang ko kayo mula sa
mundo kaya napopoot sa inyo
ang mundo.”
Paano tayo mamuhay dito sa
mundo ngunit hindi makamundo?

Sino o ano ang nakaimpluwensya sa iyong

mga desisyon araw-araw ?
*ang mundo? or
*ang pangarap mo na makasama ang
Dios sa kanyang kaharian?
John 17: 9-19
9
I pray for them. I do not pray for
the world but for the ones you
have given me, because they are
yours,
10
and everything of mine is yours
and everything of yours is mine,
and I have been glorified in them.
11
And now I will no longer be in the
world, but they are in the world,
while I am coming to you. Holy
Father, keep them in your name
that you have given me, so that
they may be one just as we are.
12
When I was with them I protected
them in your name that you gave
me, and I guarded them, and none
of them was lost except the son of
destruction, in order that the
scripture might be fulfilled.
g
13
But now I am coming to you. I
speak this in the world so that
they may share my joy completely.
14
I gave them your word, and the
world hated them, because they
do not belong to the world any
more than I belong to the world.
15 *

I do not ask that you take them

out of the worldj
but that you keep them from the
evil one.
16
They do not belong to the world
any more than I belong to the
world.

17
Consecrate them in the truth. Your
word is truth.
18
As you sent me into the world, so I
sent them into the world.
19
And I consecrate myself for them,
so that they also may be
consecrated in truth.

only
You can satisfy
You alone are
