At the end of this module, the students are
expected to:
a. Identify the knowledge and skills needed in the
different professions and life choices
b. Identify the knowledge and skills needed in the
preferred profession; and,
c. Value the importance of knowledge and skills required
in the profession.

DIRECTIONS
1. Form students into 6 groups.
2. The teacher shall provide a box which contains
strips of different skills of particular profession.
3. Each group will pick 6 strips from the box and
paste these under the assigned profession posted
on the board.
4. The 1st group to finish the activity in the shortest
period of time will be proclaimed the winner.

To move ahead, it is necessary that a person has requisite

required in almost every modern employment area
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
• The ability to influence others toward the achievement
of a goal.
NUMERACY or NUMBER SKILLS
• Numeracy involves an
understanding of
numerical data, statistics
and graphs, and is also
part of making decisions
and reasoning.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
• It is likely that a modern
job will require you to be
familiar with at least some
computer application.
COMPUTER LITERACY means
understanding what computers can and cannot
do.

DIRECTIONS
1. Form groups of 5 per group.
2. The teacher will give a topic secretly for a
tableau.
3. As the group presents, the other groups will
guess what the performing group is presenting.
4. The group with the highest correct answers
wins.

2. Did the groups effectively show the knowledge
and skills of the professionals they were
portraying? Support your answer.

ASSIGNMENT: “Shine Like a Star”
Directions: Let the students go to their original groups
and plan to interview professionals in the community
of their successful stories. Ask how they were able to
develop the knowledge and skills needed in their
chosen profession. Have each group take a video
during the interview and upload it on Facebook with
the hashtag #shinelikeastar, with the permission of the
persons interviewed.
