Differential Weighing Devices
• Weighing instrument
– A measuring instrument
that serves to determine
the mass of a load by
using the action of
gravity.
– According to its method
of operation, a weighing
instrument is classified
as automatic or non-
automatic.

product used as the test load during material
tests. This will generally involve the use of a
