¿ what is a development of a culture of quality?

Quality culture isan organizational culture which contributes to the development of


effective and efficient care for quality, simply stated, It´s because itthe most effective and
meaningful way that quality assurance mechanisms can ensure and improve quality.
Itisto develop collaborators to the visión,to satisfythe customers beyond
their needs andimprove continousliy.
The reasons for the change towards a culture of quality

At present, companies compete in a global market, undergoing a paradigm shift, this change motivates
companies to incorpórate intheir practical management systemsthe concepts and tools of total quality that
allow them to survivein a competitive world
The most important exchange factors that are glimpsed in the near future are:
1.-the availability of naturalresources
2.-capital reinvestment
3-.The technology
4.-labor skills
Concepts on culture of quality

Quality at consumer: the caracteristics that a product of service has, operational function,
Price, economy of use, durability,safety, easy of use.
Conformation quality :isthe set of characteristics to a product during its
manufacturing process, wich mustconform to the specific design
Quality of design: set of characteristics that meet the needs of the consumer, which allow
the product to have manufactiring technological feasibility.
Evaluation of aculture

The evaluation allows obtain reliable information for decisión making in releated chores with
the development, maintenance and management of information services.The evaluation is
a decisión making tool.
The evaluation process requieres as a starting point to consider wich are
the real ends that are pursued. The evaluation isusually based on the collection of data on
the resultsobtained, that allow reaching conclusions that result in the ímprobamenteof
Culture analysis
Hofstede analyzes various cultures of the world based on four dimensions that are
describedbelow.
Individualism.- a society trended to individualism isformed by individuals who reflect a high
confidence among themselves, entrepreneurs, with are initiative to seek individual
achievements
Distance of power: Indicates the degree to wich less powerful individuals
accept an unequal distribution of power
The organizational culture
Thiscan facilítate the implementation of the strategy, only if there isa strong coherence
between the two or,on the contary, preventor delay its implementation; organizational
identity isinfluenced by conscious thinking as the way in wich people at work are releated,
mainly motivated by unconscious thoughts and feelings, their birth depends on the transfer
of emotions that occur under the organizational structure.
Factors that affect the culture ofan organization
1.-the history and property: by understing property as responsability, controlling the results
and the means to achieve them, it issaid that a centralized property of the organization
tends to créate a high-power environment, where resources controlled. For their part,
oldorganization tend to be structured with high control and well-concentrated levels of
power
2.-the size; A large organization tends to have a well defined structure, very specific controls,
each member has a clear visión of their responsabilities. A small company provides greater
flexibility
3.-the tecnology :this plays an important role in the development of companies. In
organization with a veryclear sources of power are required as well as certain degree of
individualism to face these challenge
Goals and objectives.- the objectives of a company vary acording to the strategies, the
businesssector ithas ans the type of consumer they serve.
Development of a culture ofquality in the organization

Factor that affect a person’s quality of life may be physical or emotional. White these factors are
important for everyone, it isespecially important that care workers ensure that certain factors are
present for individuals in their care, these include:
*physicalfactors: execise, diet, safety, higiene, pain relife
* intelectual factors: stimulation, engagingin activties
* emotional factors: privacy, dignity, approval, psychological security,
*socialfactors: social contact, social support
Development of personal quality
Personal development isessentially about becomig the best that can be and growing to its
true potential. Inyour personal life and in business, personal growth should be your number
one priority and developing a strategy to achieve itshould be a daily taskthat you add to
your calendar.

-Ávila Godínez Fernando : it is important to develop a culture of quality at the organization level
and at a personal level since this allows us to promote changes toimprove our processes os activities, as
a result it makes us more competitive and we focus on excellence, but let’s make it clear that this
concept ismultidimensional.
-Galicia Montaño Ivan Jahir: it is important to give afundamental role to the culture of quality
wthin a company, since it will be respocible for giving an improvement to the production of the
same one, wich will help to its external and internan growth will also be based on giving your
employees a good working environment, wich will allow them to have a good context to develop
better

organizations such as Consumer Reports and J.D.But just as companies’ margin for error has decreased, the
likelihood of error has risen. In many industries, cycle times are compressing. During the recovery from
the Great Recession, output gains have outpaced employment growth, and employees report straining
to keep up with demands. Asa result of these pressures, managers must find a new approach to quality
one that moves beyondthe
traditional “total quality management” tools of the past quarter century. In conclusion the
Organizational Culturies defined as the shared beliefs, values, attitudes, and behavior patterns that
characterize the members of anorganization.

Ruiz Córdoba Gregorio Uriel: Beyond being o fashion or a topic that has become a priority in a
training program in any company, quality culture is a way of life, it is a custom, it is an attitude.
Easily many companies talk about offering quality products or having quality processes, however
in most cases this is far from reality. Totransform a company into an organization with quality, it
must start from the most essential of its being: its human team.

The quality culture allows in increase of productivity in the company, it is important that lad
companies recognize the different standards of quality and they promote changesand
improvements in his processes and activities. Thisitisnecessary to be able to offer better sevices
and products that will allow raise hiscompetitiveness and to be modals of excellence in a

The leadership style of the company, the producers, the means that they use, the attitudes,
