Rules And Regulations Inside the Electrical
Laboratory
1. Only students with laboratory subjects are allowed to enter the
laboratory areas concerned and only during the time designated. All
other users should secure permits from the chairman of EE
department.
2. No equipment will be issued or operated for a laboratory class,
even during the scheduled time, of the laboratory instructor is not
present. This includes make-up classes, which is addition, will
require a permit from the EE department Chairman.

3. For students intending to do overtime make-up work, a permit from the
laboratory instructor and approval from the EE Department Chairman must
be secured at least one day before the performance of the laboratory
experiment. The laboratory instructor concerned must be present to
facilitate the needs of the students.
4. All requisition slips should be accompanied by borrower’s ID. Transfer of
equipment to other borrowers is not allowed. The person whose name
appears on the requisition slip should be the one to return all items
borrowed.
5. All damages and/or losses of items like tools, instruments and equipment,
consumable or not, will be charged to the individual responsible. However, if
the experiment is done by a group, damages will be equally distributed
among the group members unless special arrangements are made. As much
possible, replacement of damaged items should be made in kind.

6. All damages and/or losses should be promptly reported either
verbally or in writing to the EE department Chairman, by the laboratory
or student/s concerned.
7. No items, tools or equipment can be taken out of the laboratory
premises without proper authorization from the EE department
Chairman. If items are to be used outside the campus, a permit must
be secured from the EE department chairman with a recommendation
from the laboratory instructor. The policy is specifically applied to the
students doing the prototypes of their theses.
8. No modification, repairs or alterations, by the students, of any
equipment in the laboratory is allowed.

9. Safety measures strictly enforced by everybody inside the laboratory.
10. All students must observe the proper dress code while inside the
laboratory. Sandals or open-toed shoes are Not allowed.
11. Food, drinks are NOT allowed inside the laboratory.
12. Be PUNCTUAL for your laboratory session.
13. All equipment, apparatus and tools must be RETURNED to their
original places after use.
14. Report immediately to your laboratory instructor, if any injury
occur.
