BASIC STEPS
FOR MS. LINDA GOLDSON
1. Conduct an interest inventory test that has an RIASEC scale.
2. Determine the three letter codes that applies to client’s interest.
3. Discuss each code and determine the tasks and environment related to
each.
4. Identify previous jobs that fall under those interest and what they liked
and disliked about each.
5. Discuss how current health issues may affect career choice.
6. Identify barriers that may come up from being an employee versus the
employer.
