PERFECT PAIR
A Mathematical investigation
This will tackle about the pattern of how the sum of a prime number
and a perfect square number will be a perfect square.
The first few prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23 and
29.
a perfect square is a number, from a
given number system, that can be
expressed as the square of a number
from the same number system. 2²= 4 & 3²= 9, so 4 and 9 are
example of a perfect square
number.
The prime number can only be added to a perfect square once to have a sum of a perfect square.
There is no perfect square number that can be added to 2 to have a perfect square answer
because 2 is an even number and the sum of two consecutive perfect square numbers are all odd
numbers.
All prime numbers can be added to certain perfect square number to have a perfect square
answer except 2 because all prime numbers are odd number except 2 which is an even number.
There is no such sequence to have a sum of a
perfect square when you added a prime number
and a perfect square numbers: but
