Visitors Health & Safety Induction – Rules
Introduction:
In the interest of Health & Safety of all Mine requires that all visitors
give their full cooperation and commitment in adhering to the
following:
Road Safety
•Adhere to speed limits
•Drive with headlights switched on at all times
•Wear safety seat belts at all times whilst travelling in a vehicle
•Adhere to all traffic rules/no talking on cell phones whilst driving
Emergency Response
In the case of an medical emergency there is a site first aid station
manned by a Life-support Paramedic and a clinic manned by Doctor.

- PPE, Lock-out procedures , inspections , Audits , Checklists ,
Planned Task Observations and Pre – work Risk
Assessments.
7. Suspended Loads
- Safe Operating Procedure for lifting equipment and
attachments , Task Observations and Pre Work

8. Working at heights
- PPE, World-class Scaffolding , Inspections and Audits ,
Checklists .
5. Do not go past “No Entry” signs unless given permission by the Supervisor in
charge of the working place
6. Ensure that the person in charge knows where you are at all time
