 INTRODUCTION
 Vzoic Healthcare is situated at plot no. 236, industrial area, phase-9,
Mohali.
 Vzoic Healthcare Private Limited is a Private incorporated
Company.
 Vzoic Healthcare is Indian pharmaceutical company with global
operations, engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of
pharmaceutical products. It have Quality Control Equipments like,
HPLC, and Spectrophotometer etc.
 It is classified as Non-government company. It is focused on
manufacturing and delivering high quality products.
 Through strong commitment over the year, it has positioned itself as
the big pharmaceutical company in Punjab .It has strong research
and development capabilities which enhance its portfolio of
products.

 Tablet are unit solid dosage form containing a

medicaments or mixing of medicaments and
excipients compressed or moulded into solid
cylindrical or round having either flat or
convex surface.
 Tablets are generally administered by oral
route.

Capsules are the solid dosage forms in which drug substance is enclosed within
hard or soft soluble shell. The shells are generally formed from gelatin.
Capsules are of two types:-
1. Hard Gelatin Capsules
2. Soft Gelatin Capsules

CAPSULE SIZE
For human use, empty capsules ranging in size from 000 the
largest to 5 the smallest.
 Generally hard gelatine capsules are used to en-capsuled b/w
65mg to 1 gram.

Capsules were filled using semi automatic
machine under supervision of skilled operators .

Suspension:
A Pharmaceutical suspension is a coarse dispersion in which
therapeutically active ingredient is dispersed uniformly throughout
the external phase.
Syrup:
Syrup are the concentrated, viscous, aqueous solutions of sugar or
sugar substitute with or without flavours and medical substance.
When purified water alone is used in making preparation is known as
SYRUP.

QC is a process by which entities review the quality of all factors

involved in production. ISO9000 defines quality control as ‘ A part of
quality management focused on fulfilling quality requirements’.

Harness Tester

It is defined as the force required to break a tablet in a diametric

compression test.
Types of hardness testers that were generally used-
1. Monsanto Hardness Tester
2. Strong Cob Tester
3. Pfizer Tester
FRIABILITY TEST
 The instrument commonly used is ROCHE FRIABILLATOR.
 It consists of an acrylic drum having 280-290mm diameter with a
thickness of 30mm. Acrylic drum is mounted on a horizontal axis
of a drive motor. Drum is operated at a speed of 25rpm and
allowed revolutions for each tablet is 100.
 Allowable range: loss 0.5%-1%weight.
DISINTEGRATION TEST
Disintegration is the breakdown of tablet crush in to finely divided
particulate matter or into granules once the tablet is exposed to the
gastric fluids.
