HISTORY
• Mondelez India Foods Private Limited is a part of the Mondelēz International group of companies and is in the
business of creating delicious moments of joy– by producing delectable chocolate confectionaries, gum and candy
products, and popular beverages and foods that include many of India's most popular and trusted food brands.

• In 1989,the company set up a new plant in Malanpur, M.P., to derive benefits available to the backward area. In
1995, Cadbury expanded Malanpur plant in a major way. The Malanpur plant has mordenized facilities for Gems,
Eclairs and Perk etc.

• The Cadbury Malanpur factory currently creates employment opportunities for over 1700 people. The plant
manufactures 5 out of 12 power brands including Gems, Perk, 5 Star, Eclairs and Cadbury Dairy Milk Shots. The
company will triple its its current capacity at Malanpur, which is one of its key Malanpur, which is one of its key

MANUFACTURING

The manufacturing department deals with the manufacturing of the products


related processes. This includes receiving orders/demands from the Marketing & sales depar
tment which set the monthly targets for all the products. Depending on the monthly
production target set (goals), the manufacturing department gives in demands for raw
materials, packaging materials and other requirements to the stores department so that they
can avail all the materials in sufficient amount to achieve the production target. The
manufacturing department also takes care of the in-process products during the entire chain
of production from start till end and maintains a proper legitimate stock of goods at each and
every stage of the manufacturing process.

Conveyor Cooling Tunnel
The cooling tunnels are designed with a focus on simple and clean design – and due to
remarkable flexible airflow, the result is an environmentally friendly and energy efficient
solution. A specialized cooling system, re-circulation fan and evaporator work to reduce
the tunnel humidity and transform the moisture into dry air, the Nielsen cooling tunnels
guarantee a perfect crystallization and cooling process.
