[DTC check for fuel system and intake system]

1. Transfer to CHECK MODE


2. Warm-up Engine
3. Idle for 5 min. or more
(to set DTCs relating to rough idling)
4. Drive the vehicle more than 40 km/h for 30 sec. or No DTCs
No DTC more
5. Stop the vehicle (don’t stop the engine)
6. Perform Step (4) ~ (5) 4 times or more
7. Stop the engine and wait 10 sec.
8. Perform Step (4) ~ (7) again (to set DTCs relating
to EGR system and intake shutter)
9. Drive the vehicle more than 70 km/h for 1 min. or
more (to set DTCs relating to supply pump)

1.Apply a negative pressure (minimum: -60 kPa) to actuator using
vacuum pump
2.Allow the negative pressure in the actuator to decreases gradually
3.Check the actuator rod stroke from initial position
