for a computer hardware technician.

◊ The configuration of a PC depends on the application


for which the PC will be used.

components and their required specifications.
◊ After the system is assembled use the BIOS settings to
configure your system.

Precautions to be taken while


assembling the PC

◊ The components should be handled gently.


◊ The room should be free of antistatic charges and
static electricity.
◊ The person assembling the system should wear
antistatic wrist strap with proper grounding.

you start the assembling
process.

case.

falls on the motherboard, the motherboard may be damaged

◊ The motherboard is made of sensitive electronic components and hence


it is very much essential to keep the motherboard in the antistatic bag
until required for the installation process.
