Basic SIP Configuration
Endpoint Phone Number Table

► Protocol Configuration  Endpoint Number


► Enable the port and assign its number
Coder Table

Configuration tab > Protocol Configuration menu >


Coders And Profile Definition submenu > Coders
► Select the first to fifth preferred coders

Number of coder payloads that are Enables or disables the silence


combined into a single RTP packet suppression option per coder

Bit rate (in kbps) of the coder


(for example, 5.3 or 6.3 for G.723.1)

Payload type for coders with dynamic payload types


(payload types of 'well-known' coders cannot be modified).
Tel to IP Routing Table

► Used to route Tel calls to IP addresses when Proxy isn’t


used
► Configuration tab > Protocol Configuration menu> Routing
Tables submenu > Tel to IP Routing

Associates a called / calling phone


number's prefixes with a destination IP

Domain names can be used instead


of IP addresses.

used

The IP 127.0.0.1 can be used when the


IP address of the gateway itself is
unknown (for example when
DHCP is used)

Use 0.0.0.0 to discard outgoing IP calls

An asterisk (*) represents all numbers

Registration

Enables the gateway to register


to Proxy / Registrar server

REGISTER messages are sent to


Registrar IP Address. If not exists,
to the active Proxy server.

Per Endpoint: Registration separately


for each B-channel / port
Per Gateway: Single Registration
for the entire gateway

Defines the user name that is used in


the From and To headers of
REGISTER messages. Applicable only
for per-gateway registration
