 Rationale This section is a logical presentation of the significant reasons why the research is

necessary. The reasons are based on documented facts and figures, principles and prevailing
conditions as well as relevant literature in the field of discipline. The presentation may start
from global and national perspectives funneling down to the chosen locale’s conditions.
(maximum of 2 pages)
 Statement of the Problem/Objectives In this section, the researcher shall include a statement
of general and specific objectives about the descriptive and inferential problems. (minimum of 3
objectives/problems)
 Theoretical Framework
 This section presents the theories, models or frameworks that serve
as basis of study, and shows how these things are related to the study.
(maximum of 3 theories)

 Conceptual Framework
 This section shows how the theories, models or frameworks will be
used in the study. It also presents the problem/objectives in graphic
form, called paradigm. It shows at a glance what the researcher
wants to do with the variables, and the possible outcomes of the
study.
 This section includes related literature, related studies, and
synthesis. A minimum of 10 literature and studies which are taken
from refereed journals. The synthesis should be presented in tabular
form. The table shall include the authors and dates, the domain or
focus of study, and methodology.
 This section describes the research design (descriptive, qualitative,
quantitative, etc.), the respondents, the research locale/environment,
research instrument, and the data gathering procedures.

 Reference
 This section presents in alphabetical order the complete list of
materials used and mentioned in the study. The APA format is
observed in this section.
