How to make a “3D pop-out” photo

Step 1: Open up PowerPoint

Step 2: Click “New”

Step 3: Click “Blank Presentation”

Step 4: Go to www.google.com

Step 5: Search “dog running” in the search bar, then left click, “ Google Search”

Picture must have good contrast and dog is high quality FOR BEST RESULTS

LOOK FOR:

High Quality pictures

Step 8: Right Click on the Image

Step 9: Click “Copy image”

Step 10: Right Click on the Blank slide and click on “Paste”

“Paste” is the clipboard on the left

Step 11: Right click on the picture, left click on “Copy”

Step 12: Right Click on the slide and click on “Paste”

“Paste” is the clipboard on the left

Step 13: Click and drag the pasted picture so they are parallel

Step 14: Double left click on the right dog picture to open the “Format” tab

Click “Crop”

Step 15: Click and drag one of the top corners halfway down the picture.

Step 16: After cropping the picture, Double Click to go back to the “Format” tab

Step 17: Add a border around the cropped image

Use this border on the far left

Step 18:Double click on the cropped picture.

Click the arrow pointing down under “Crop”

Step 19:Click on “Crop to Shape”. This will open a tab of many different shapes

You can use any shape for this effect.

Step 21: Click and drag the orange dot so the dog’s legs are not cut off

The orange dot adjusts the angle of the trapezoid

Next, we will work on the left picture

Step 22: Double click on the left picture to get to the “Format” tab

Step 23: Click “Remove Background”

The Purple is what will be removed from the picture

Make sure the dog is not purple

The Options, “Mark Areas to Keep” and “Mark Areas to Remove” at the top left..

Step 24: Click on the correct option and click and drag on parts to keep or remove

Step 25: When finished, Click on “Keep Changes”

Step 26: Right Click on the left picture.

Click on “Bring to front”

Step 27: Click and drag the full dog picture over the cropped picture.

This starts the look of the pop out effect

Hold down the control (Ctrl) key and click on both of the images.
