NOTHING CAN

STOP GOD
FROM LOVING YOU
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does
not envy, it does not boast, it is not
proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-
seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love
does not delight in evil but rejoices
with the truth. 7 It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.(NIV)
Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am convinced that
neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the
present nor the future, nor any
powers, 39 neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all
creation, will be able to separate
us from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.(NIV)
What are the
evidences that God
loves us?
1. He gave His one and
only Son FOR YOU.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that
he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal
life.(NIV)
Romans 8:32
Since he did not spare
even his own Son but gave
him up for us all, won't he
also give us everything
else?(NLT)
2. Even when we are still
sinners, He already chose
and loved you.
1 John 4:10
This is real love- NOT THAT
WE LOVED GOD, but that HE
LOVED US and sent his Son as
a sacrifice to take away our
sins.(NLT)
Jeremiah 31:3
Long ago the LORD said to
Israel: "I have loved you, my
people, with an everlasting
love. With unfailing love I have
drawn you to myself.(NLT)
3. In the midst of your trial,
God will NEVER leave you.
Jonah 1:1-17
1 The word of the LORD came to Jonah
son of Amittai: 2 "Go to the great city
of Nineveh and preach against it,
because its wickedness has come up
before me." 3 But Jonah ran away from
the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He
went down to Joppa, where he found a
ship bound for that port. After paying
the fare, he went aboard and sailed for
Tarshish to flee from the LORD.(NIV)
Jonah 1:1-17
4Then the LORD sent a great wind on the
sea, and such a violent storm arose that
the ship threatened to break up. 5 All the
sailors were afraid and each cried out to
his own god. And they threw the cargo into
the sea to lighten the ship. But Jonah had
gone below deck, where he lay down and
fell into a deep sleep. 6 The captain went
to him and said, "How can you sleep? Get
up and call on your god! Maybe he will take
notice of us, and we will not perish."(NIV)
Jonah 1:1-17
7 Then the sailors said to each other,
"Come, let us cast lots to find out who is
responsible for this calamity." They cast
lots and the lot fell on Jonah. 8 So they
asked him, "Tell us, who is responsible for
making all this trouble for us? What do you
do? Where do you come from? What is
your country? From what people are you?"
9 He answered, "I am a Hebrew and I
worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who
made the sea and the land."(NIV)
Jonah 1:1-17
10 This terrified them and they asked,
"What have you done?" (They knew he was
running away from the LORD, because he
had already told them so.) 11 The sea was
getting rougher and rougher. So they
asked him, "What should we do to you to
make the sea calm down for us?" 12 "Pick
me up and throw me into the sea," he
replied, "and it will become calm. I know
that it is my fault that this great storm has
come upon you."(NIV)
Jonah 1:1-17
13 Instead, the men did their best to row
back to land. But they could not, for the
sea grew even wilder than before. 14
Then they cried to the LORD, "O LORD,
please do not let us die for taking this
man's life. Do not hold us accountable
for killing an innocent man, for you, O
LORD, have done as you pleased." 15
Then they took Jonah and threw him
overboard, and the raging sea grew
calm.(NIV)
Jonah 1:1-17
16 At this the men greatly feared
the LORD, and they offered a
sacrifice to the LORD and made
vows to him. 17 But the LORD
provided a great fish to swallow
Jonah, and Jonah was inside the
fish three days and three
nights.(NIV)
Jonah 1:17
17 But the LORD provided a
great fish to swallow Jonah,
and Jonah was inside the fish
three days and three
nights.(NIV)
IN YOUR
DISOBEDIENCE,GOD STILL
LOVES YOU
Hebrews 12:5-7
5 And have you forgotten the encouraging
words God spoke to you as his children?
He said, "My child, don't make light of the
LORD's discipline, and don't give up when
he corrects you. 6 For the LORD
disciplines those he loves, and he
punishes each one he accepts as his
child." 7 As you endure this divine
discipline, remember that God is treating
you as his own children. Who ever heard of
a child who is never disciplined by its
father?(NLT)
Hebrews 12:11
No discipline is enjoyable while it is
happening-it's painful! But
afterward there will be a peaceful
harvest of right living for those who
are trained in this way.(NLT)
John 13:7
Jesus replied, "You do not
realize now what I am doing, but
later you will understand."(NIV)
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not
be afraid or terrified because of
them, for the LORD your God goes
with you; he will never leave you nor
forsake you."(NIV)
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in
its time. He has also set eternity in
the hearts of men; yet they cannot
fathom what God has done from
beginning to end.(NIV)
