• Defines the competency that the learner
should undertake in order to develop a
skill.
• Competency bares code .
• Competency is based on least – learned or
not mastered by the students within the
current grading period or previous quarter .
• It presents the objectives ( 2 or 3 ) of the
lesson .
II. GUIDE CARD

Stimulates the learner’s

interest on the topic discuss
and gives a preview of what
they would learn
III. ACTIVITY CARD

 Translates the focus skills

with in at least three
activities
 IV. ENRICHMENT CARD

 Provides activities that reinforce the

content of the lesson and provides
opportunities for the learners to
