funding programs such as planned parenthood and help them expand into
more locations and more services. More access to sex education and
contraceptives will lower abortion rates as well because they will be
needed less. My opponent only wants to limit access to sexual healthcare
and women’s healthcare and reproductive health, this would not end or
decrease abortions, only put women at risk. My opponent is putting women
in harms was via illegal abortions that are not regulated.

AD Strategy

My strategy for this ad is attacking my opponents’ character for not

being from Minnesota. I’m trying to reach voters who are concerned
about the environment and may have previously voted for Trump
because of what he said about Obama not being born in the US even
though he was, these voters will want to vote for someone they know is
from where they live. This ad will be effective because it will appeal to
the environmental concerns of democrats and third-party voters and
the “patriotic superiority” and “exclusivity” that people voting for Trump
last year liked. Nearly 50% of Minnesota voters say they’re “very
concerned” about rollbacks on environmental laws. Minnesotans tend
to vote more democratically and since the rollbacks of environmental
laws by Trump, it will be easier to use environmental legislation against
the republican party.
