INTRODUCTION
Bribery is usually expressed in differences in the procedure of
the deal and therefore creates opportunities for corruption.
In term of ethics the gift policy must be aligned with all other
elements of the ethics system of a company.
CASE STUDIES
#1: Iskandar Investment Berhad
Mr Harun Johari accepted bribe for a development
project.
Consequences
Mr Hanafiah was charged for 2
corruption charges.
Government Agency initiated an audit into
the financial management and operation
Iskandar Investment Berhad.
Description
• The responses show that majority
understand what is meant by bribe.
Unfortunately, few respondents did
not know or maybe confuse about
the true meaning of bribe.

Providing for your travel is a
legitimate business expense,
although you should always check
before accepting anything.

respondents choose the correct
situation which involving giving
bribe.

RECOMMENDATIONS
There is no basic strategy to anticipate
corruption in generally yet with
partitioning the duty to a smaller
organization or association. This issue
can be handled with a lot simpler
solution. As the study has been done, it
is resolved that these proposals can be
divided into three significant point.
Action by Government
Give an autonomous and appropriately subsidized body to Make it an obligatory legitimate prerequisite for organizations
anticipate, examine and prosecute corruption. bidding for tender in open sector project to implement anti-
corruption measure inside their association.
Action by Engineers
Most of the project needs engineers to hold big responsible as engineers have
the power to give endorsement for a specific project to run.
