INTRODUCTION
• “It is the process of finding and hiring best talent (Within or
outside) the organization for a vacancy in the workforce”.
In human resource management, "recruitment" is the way
toward finding and contracting the best and most qualified
contender for an employment opportunity, in a convenient
and financially understanding way. It can likewise be
characterized as the "procedure of looking for imminent
workers and animating and urging them to go after positions
in an association".
METHODS OF RECRUITMENT
• Recruitment is done by 3 methods that are as follow:
• 1).Direct method 2).Indirect method 3).Third part
method
1. Direct Method
In this method, organization seeks candidates
by sending their representatives in training and
educational institute’s e.g; universities and colleges.
2. Indirect Method
In this method the organizations attract
candidates by advertising their job vacancies through
newspaper, television, social media marketing and

EXAMPLE OF RECRUITMENT
• Recruitment process of Pepsi:
• The Pepsi bottling group hires about 9500 employees every
year for its operations and manufacturing, selling and
distributed its drinks. The huge number of these hires, close
to 4000, is made to gear up for what Pepsi bottling group
refers to as the “one hundred days of summer” by far the
busiest time of the year of the company(Ed Rodriguez
2007)The organization conducts its recruitment and
selection planning by following two sources:
• Internal sources of recruitment.
• External sources of recruitment

CONCLUSION
• The recruitment process has become all the time more
difficult. Since the organizations need to contract more and
more capable and successful candidates. The organizations
have involved various strategies for enlisting a candidate.
Better recruitment procedures bring about improved
organization overall performance. The more effectively
organizations recruitment candidates, the more likely they
are to retain and satisfy employees. In addition, the
effectiveness of an organization’s selection system can
influence bottom-line business outcomes, such as
productivity and financial performance.
