INTRODUCTION

Work Immersion is one of the best training methods. It aims to orient and train students about
their skills for their future career. In other words, work immersion serve as their training ground. It is very
important because it is not only training and teaching skills but also helped and gives knowledge about the
reality of working.
Work Immersion made students to become responsible and productive. Aside from work
experience, work immersion allows the students to get acquainted with the real professionals and meet
people having different positions in the company, either high or low. The students will be able to how
adjust to other people’s a personalities and attitudes.

To the Piliopiliohan Day Care Center and to Maam Leah Genogaling, the teacher
incharge for assisting us in are daily task and for giving us the knowledge and lessons.

And above all to the almighty GOD, for giving me strength and endless guidance.
 COMPANY PROFILE

First it is not really a school Maam Leah tolds us that the Piliopiliohan Day Care
Center was a wemen association before it is their meeting spot. And the Daycare used that
temporarily for them to learn they rent it for them to have a temporary classroom but now it is
given to them. Starting year 2005 to 2009 Maam Emily Tejada Canate is the first teacher teaches
them and in year 2013-2015 Maam Rose Mhay Calipong is the second teacher and at year 2015
until now it is Maam Leah Genogaling who is taking care of the Day Care Center of Piliopiliohan
and she is the one who assist us in our work immersion.

Summary of Duties

WEEK 1: NOVEMBER 11-15, 2019

November 11, 2019 Time In:9:00 Time Out:11:00

Day 1, It was my very first work immersion as a trainee. When I arrive in the school
That Im assigned in together with my co-trainee we first introduced ourselves to the teacher incharge
And the students. Then Maam leah the teacher incharge told us the rule and regulations about the school
we learn the right to enter the classroom and the time out and then we decided to clean the room and then
afterwards Maam leah give us some task to do her paper works. In the afternoon we teach the student how
to write .

Day 2, The first things that we do is that we clean the room after that we clean outside the
room then the parents arrive at school to attend the meeting Maam leah want us to listen and after the
meeting we start our bayanihan program . And this afternoon we teach the children how to write letters
and after the recess I read them stories .

Day 3, The things that we is that we clean the room and also outside in our room after we
finish cleaning Maam leah ask for our help to her on her paper works. In this afternoon the things that we
do is to finish the paper works that we have done in the morning and the students arrive after Maan leah
teach them we teach our students how to write .After our class we clean the room.

Day 4, The first thing that I do is I clean the room then I clean also outside in our room and
the students arrive and Maan leah start the class and Maam leah teach the student how to draw seed and
also I teach the student how to color the seeds. In this afternoon the things that I do is I just teach them
how draw and tell them story.

November 15,2019
Day 5, We went to kabankalan with our student to watch variety show afterwards when we
already in the kabankalan the program not yet started so we just waited until the program started we just
watch until it end.
WEEK 2: NOVEMBER 18-22,2019

Day 1, Of the second week of our immersion the thing that we is we clean the room and we clean the
outside of our room after that we do the paper works and are student arrive we started the class and we
teach them how to write. In this afternoon the thing that we do is that we the student how to write.

Day 2, The things that we is that we clean the room and also we clean outside in our
room and after that we finish the paper work that we have done yesterday and our students arrive and we
teach our students how to write. In this afternoon the thing that we is we just teach the students haw to
write and tell them a stories.

Day 3,The thing that we is we clean the room and after that we clean the outside of our
room and the students arrive and Maam Leah Started the Class and after Maam leah finish her class we
teach the student how to draw. And this afternoon we teach our students how to draw and write.

Day 4, The thing that we do is we clean the room and we clean outside in our room
and our students arrive we preparing because we going to visit to the farm.

Day 5,The Things that we do is we go Kabankalan with our students because they
will have their UN presentation and as we arrived we put make up to the childrens for their parade. Then
I waited afterwards we go home.

SUMMARY OF LEARNINGS

What I’ve learned in my work immersion is that being a teacher is not that easy it takes
long patience and understanding, it’s hard to communicate with some students because some of them are
really naughty and very rascals so you need to have long patient with them and try to talk to them in a nice
way so that they will listen to you and obey you . And also I I’ve learn that its nice to be teacher because in
every place if you encounter them they will always say “Goodmorning Maam “. Its a nice feeling because
you feel that you are being respected And it can help also to are bitter future.
