FRP boats to HDPE Boats due to low demand.

no digital strategy in place. (They do not feature even in the
search pages of Just Dial)

Boat Market in India
• 2007 – had an optimistic growth rate which slumped by the
end of FY 2011-12.
• The Cumulative Boat Sale by Value has been steadily
decreasing at a rate of 12.1 %. Some of the reasons being:
– Heightened competition from players like Yamaha and Samudra
Shipyard Alappuzha
– Highly Unorganized sector with negligible manufacturing process
standardization

12
After sales service includes:
• Managing warranty expectations
• Service upsell check list
• Periodic inspections
• Refurbishment
Demand Planning
