Minecraft Java Edition is only for

Windows, Macs, or Linux computers.
This was the first version and
considered the best by many people.

Minecraft Minecraft Java was released for the

first time on May 17, 2009 and
Java Edition included very little content.

On September 15th of 2014 Microsoft

bought Mojang along with Minecraft
for 2.5 Billion dollars.
 Minecraft Bedrock includes almost every other edition
of Minecraft.

Minecraft This is the edition you can cross play on from other
Bedrock platforms. Editions in this edition include Pocket,
Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, etc.

Edition Although these editions were all released at different

times, on December 16th, 2016 Mojang introduced
Minecraft Bedrock in the Ender Update. This update
made these platforms cross playable with each other.
 Minecraft Education edition
was released on November 1st,
2016. This edition of Minecraft
is also quite similar Bedrock
Minecraft Edition.

This edition of Minecraft is meant to be
educational. Some of the main features of
this version include bots that you can
practice coding with, elements on the
periodic table to help with chemistry, and
classrooms so students can join and help
each other out with the learning process.
 There are some other editions of
Minecraft that aren’t included with
the others.

PS3 and PS4 editions aren’t included
Editions with Bedrock edition because
PlayStation doesn’t like the idea of
cross play with other platforms other
than their own.
 Although Minecraft is playable on
many different consoles or devices,
they all have the same general aims.

There are two main gamemodes

Gamemodes Minecraft and 3 other less common
ones.

The main two are survival and

creative and the others are hardcore,
adventure, and spectator.
  Survival means you begin your
world with nothing and must gather
resources and like wood to cook
with and food to eat. Although
Gamemode there are no rules to follow because
it is a sandbox game, there are
Survival achievements that you can get that
don’t reward you with anything
other than bragging rights. This is
probably because they want every
time you play to be different.
 Creative mode has seemingly no limits. You can do or build
almost anything without the worry of resources or anything
really.

In this mode you get infinite resources, health, and the ability to
fly. What you can’t do or build with your hands you can do with

Gamemode
commands and command blocks, both of which are only available
in creative.

Creative Commands can allow you to fill an area with any block of your
choice or give you some items that you can’t access in the
creative inventory such as command blocks.

Command blocks can be used similar to commands but the can

activated with redstone (the technology of Minecraft). These are
useful in large creations involving lots of commands.
Gamemode
Spectator
 Spectator is similar to creative
because you can fly. Although you
can’t place blocks you can fly
through walls and are permanently
invisible to other players who
aren’t in spectator mode. In this
mode you have the ability to
teleport to other players to
spectate them and view the world
from their point of view.
 Hardcore is similar to survival mode as
well but the difficulty is locked on hard
and once you die the game ends.
Gamemode
Hardcore Once you die you have the option to
delete the world or spectate it.
Spectating it will just put you into
spectator mode permanently. This is so
you can view you world and progress.
  Adventure mode is similar to
survival but is mainly used for
maps. This is because
adventure prevents you from
breaking blocks without the
Gamemode proper tools to do so and
Adventure placing blocks unless the
creator allows you to do so.
Useful to prevent players from
cheating and breaking out of
the map you have created.

minecraft.net/en-us/download/. Keep in mind
to create and account for Minecraft Java you
must pay money.
 To download Minecraft Windows 10 Edition you
need to go to the Microsoft store and search up
How to Download Minecraft. To download you must already have
it purchased or you can purchase it right then.

started/download/. Once there click download
for Windows 10 or pick the device you are
using. To play Minecraft Education edition you
will need to sign in using your school account.
 Multiplayer on Minecraft is pretty straight forward and I do not
feel the need to explain.

I recommend playing multiplayer once you get a good feel of the

game. Do not jump right into it because you probably won’t
know what you’re doing (unless you are playing with people you
know because that makes it much more fun).
Multiplayer Most servers in Minecraft have many different things you can do.
There are tons of minigames in the most popular servers and
some also include vanilla survival with very few to no
modifications.

Some other servers are just meant for survival only and
absolutely no rules exist on these servers. These types of servers
are called anarchy servers and for obvious reasons.
