 Home automation makes life simple
nowadays. It involves automatic controlling of
all electronic or electrical in homes or even
remotely through wireless communication.
Centralized control of lighting equipment's,
air conditioning and heating, audio/video
systems, security systems, kitchen appliances
and all other equipment's are used in home
are possible.

 In order to maintain comfortable living conditions within a home, home monitoring and
automation are utilized. The standards of human's comfort in homes can be categorized
into several types. Among these categories, the most significant ones are the thermal
comfort, which is related to temperature and humidity, followed by the visual comfort,
related to colors and light, and hygienic comfort, associated with air quality. A system can
be set to monitor these parameters to help maintain them within an acceptable range.
Additionally, making the house smart is to allow for intelligent automatic executing of
several commands after analyzing the collected data. Automation can be accomplished by
using the Internet of Things (IoT).
 In this apk file on mobile is used in which appliances are connected to sensors and
sensors give status of appliances to the web. Here electric appliances are operated by the
website. The main objective of home automation and security is to help handicapped and
aged people that will enable them to control home appliances and alert them in critical
situations
 Keywords:- smart, automation.

 N. Sriskanthan [8] has implemented the model for home
automation using Bluetooth via PC. But, Bluetooth has range
limitation.
 Hasan [9] has developed a telephone and PIC remote
controlled device for controlling the devices.pin check
algorithm was used to implement the system where it was
with cable network but not wireless communication

 Amul Jadhav [10] has used universal XML format to design
automation system which can be easily ported to any other
mobile devices.
 R.Piyare [12] has introduced design and implementation of
a low cost, flexible and wireless solution to the home
automation.
 Jitendra R. [11] implemented a system with the ZigBee
network and showed how to eliminate the complication of
wiring in case of wired automation.

 The Internet of Things is a system of physical things
embedded with sensors, software, electronics and connectivity
to allow it to perform better by exchanging information with
another connected devices.
NODEMCU:-
 NodeMCU is a low-cost open source IOT platform. It initially
included firmware which runs on the ESP8266 WI-FI SOC from
Espressif Systems, and hardware which was based on the ESP-
12 module. Later, designs based on the ESP32 32-bit MCU
were added.

SMOKE SENSOR:-
 A smoke detector is a device that senses smoke, typically as
an indicator of fire.
 Commercial security devices issue a signal to a fire
alarm control panel as part of a fire alarm system, while
household smoke detectors, also known as smoke alarms,
generally issue a local audible or visual alarm from the
detector itself or several detectors if there are multiple
smoke detectors interlinked.

 This paper gives basic idea how we can control
home appliances by computer technology. The
main objective of this project is to help
handicapped people. It provides security and CONCLUSION
saves energy. As we are accessing devices by
website, we can access it even if we are far
away from home where the Wi-Fi is available.
