Air Pollution is the entry of chemicals and

particles into the atmosphere that can harm
organism on the earth.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS

Photosynthesis is the process of

forming organic matter from inorganic
substances such as water and carbon
dioxide with sunlight.

Research Methodology
OPERATIONAL DEFINITIONS

Lili Paris (Clorophytum

comusum) is species from
Clorophytum genus in
Asparagaceae family.This plants
are native to tropical and
subtropical regions with features
long grasy green and white
stripped leaves.
Air Pollution is the presence of
substances in atmosphere that can
harm ecosysistem on earth.
OPERASIONAL DEFINITIONS

Adsorption is defined as capability

of subtance to attract another
substances to its surfaces.
Photosynthesis is the forming
process of glucose from water and
carbon dioxide with sunlight.
Air Adsorbent is subtances
with capability to attract gases
in the air to its surfaces.

research is experiment.
VARIABLES OF THE RESEARCH

Independent variable in this

study is the intial condition of
Clorophytum comusum.
Dependent variable in this
research, if amount of the smoke

• Benedict • Transparent
solutions boxes with a small
• Lili Paris hole on it side
(Colorophytum • Match
comosum) • Scissor
• Cigarettes • Pasteur pipette
• Transparent
plates
• Plant’s pots
• Spoon
PROCEDURE

1. Clorophytum comosum plants are not

given water before put into the boxes, than
check its glucose by using benedict
solutions. Note any changes with the leave
color.
2. Put the plant inside the box and put the
cigarette in the small hole.
3. Seal the box and then lit the cigarette.
Observe the box and than leave the box for
6 hour, after that observe the box again.
Note the any changes with the smoke.
4. Take out the plant from the box. Check it
glucose by using benedict. Note any
