 Creativity is the way of thinking. It's not the simple
thinking. It's the thinking that change the world human
being.
 Certain qualities which make the creative person
different from others:

 Ability to work differently
 Clear with his thoughts and ideas

 Group creativity is also enhanced when both divergent
and convergent thinking are at work.
 Divergent thinking is a breaking away from familiar or
established ways.
 Convergent thinking attempts to find the value of
creative insights.

A group benefits when its members come with different ideas and
skills.
Thinking style is the unconscious way a person looks and interacts
with the people

 Judging-Perceiving
DIVERSITY OF SKILLS
 There should be diversity in skills.
 If the team lacks vital technical skills or
expertise it will have trouble in developing
ideas it generates.
HANDLING CONFLICTS IN GROUPS
The manager’s job is to make conflicts creative….

 Every group member should respect others

 They should active listener

 There should be freedom of speech & view

 Conflicting views are important source of learning

 Playful attitudes must be welcomed

 One should learn from failure


TIME PRESSURE AND CREATIVITY
 Time pressure affects both individual and
group creativity
 “More time pressure people feel on a given
day,the less likely they will be to think
creatively”
CONCLUSION
Intelligence and creativity are only weakly co-related.
Innovation is generally a function of collaboration between
individuals and groups.

 Strive for alignment

 Pursue some self-initiated activity

 Take advantage of unofficial activity

 Be open to serendipity

 Diversify your stimuli

 Create opportunities for informal communication
