What is an AIP?
• AIP is detailed plan encompassing actions,
roles, responsibilities, timelines and success
criteria for the next 12 months, leading to the
achievement of the School Improvement
Plan.
• It is based on the general objectives and targets
set in the SIP.
• It elaborates on how key improvement
strategies and other significant projects will be
put into operation, monitored and evaluated.

• The Physical Plan contains the
performance targets of the unit’s key or
major programs and projects.

• It is an object produced as a result of

• It Must be quantifiable, tangible, and a
product of conducted activities

What is the WFP?
• The Work and Financial Plan (WFP) is a
budget execution document (BED) which
summarizes how the budget of an office is
programmed for the whole fiscal year.
• The WFP is composed of three (3) separate but
synchronized parts:
– Physical Plan
– Physical Target
– Financial Target

• An OUTPUT is object produced as a result of
completed activities of the PROGRAM or
PROJECT
• Must be quantifiable, tangible, and a product
of conducted activities

AIP and WFP Highlights

The AIP and WFP answers the following:


– What are the office’s programs?
– What are the outputs of each program?
– What activities will be conducted to produce
the outputs?
– When will the activities be conducted?
– How much will each activity cost?
– What are the resources needed?
– What are the source/s of fund?

DIFFERENCE
AIP includes all activities regardless of fund
source while WFP only includes the major
activities funded by MOOE.

General Reminders
• Every program/project must have a relevant output/s
defined.
• Every output has a corresponding output indicator
that is quantifiable and appropriate to track progress in
achieving expected outputs of the program/project.
• Every output should have activity/ies that are
relevant, necessary, and complete to facilitate the
achievement of expected output.
• Every activity has a corresponding activity indicator.
This must be quantifiable and appropriate to track
progress in accomplishing activities of the
program/project.
