Vocation
 A call from God to a distinctive state of life, in
which the person can reach holiness.

Married life
Ordain ministry/ religious life
Single blessedness
 A radical openness to where God might call a
person in the future.
 They may discern that God is calling them to
live as single people for the rest of their lives,
and that God is calling them to serve the Church
in the freedom that characterizes single life.
Married life
 God’s call for us to make a union with a
person of the opposite sex to help each other
grow in holiness and love for God.
 to share in God’s creative work in procreation.
 Responsible in modeling the children in God’s
love
Ordain ministry
A calling to serve God and lead God’s
people in performing the sacraments.
Most of them are celibate. This allows
them to serve God without the
distractions of marriage and family.
Our Mission as Christians
 As Christians who’s origin can be found in
Jesus Christ, Christians responsibility is to
share in the Christ’s as prophetic, kingly and
priestly mission in this world

 Priestly office – sanctification of the people of
God
 Prophetic office – evangelization of the Word
of God and make them a people of God
 Kingly office – governing and take care the
creation of God

Religious of the Virgin Mary
Mission
The Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM)
congregation is originate to the Beaterio de la
Compañia that founded by Mother Ignacia.
Hence, the mission that mother Ignacia left
behind to Beaterio is being continued by the
RVM, serving the poor and marginalize people.
Ministry
Education Work – molds the people in the
God’s love holistically and gives them
opportunity to serve the people of God
Retreat Movement – gives spiritual guidance
that make people realize the present of God in
their life.
Ministry
Dormitory Work – living in a community who’s
priority is to form brotherhood and sisterhood
in God’s love
Social and Pastoral Ministry – immersing
oneself in the society by acting according to
our faith and doctrines

Overseas Mission – leaving once own country
for the sake of serving other people who need
their help.
