• Ameya Life already screened 3,25,000 students in private and government sectors in
Telangana State and Andhra Padesh.
• This academic year Ameya Life is started to screen 1,00,000 Tribal children in the State
of Maharashtra.
• Ameya Life also planning and processing the applications in Karnataka State.
● Ameya Life School Health is a unique and innovative healthcare delivery service for the
students to live a healthy life style and prevent NCDs in long run.

Children up to 17 years of age make up for 29% of India’s population.
This young generation is growing up with little or no preventative healthcare support, and facing a
growing number of health challenges.
● 1 in 8 children have anemia and vitamin deficiency and a large number are overweight /obese,
reflecting the dual burden of nutrition.
● 20% children have refractory errors, more than half of which go uncorrected.
● 25% children have dental issues - a much ignored ailment among children.
Ameya Life’s beneficiary groups
● Ameya Life’s social focus is to provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to
school-children through the structured school health programs.
• Students are provided with comprehensive health screening and diagnosis for a variety of NCDs,
increasing their awareness about personal and other health related issues. Diagnosed students who
seek treatment experience an improvement in productivity and health.
• Parents of diagnosed students are communicated about the diseases and provided with referrals for
treatment. Parents who seek immediate treatment will experience improved financial savings from
preventing any medical costs incurred due to long-term untreated NCDs.
● In the year 2015-2016 around 36,800 students are screened for NCDs (Non
communicable diseases). Out of this following benefits where drawn:-
