TOPIC OF
PRESENTATION
is
INDUSTRIAL
REVOLUTIONS
WHAT IS

INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
 Industrial
revolution is defined as the
changes in manufacturing and
transportation that began with
fewer things being made by hand
but instead made using machines
in larger-scale factories.
 The IndustrialRevolution was a
time when the manufacturing of
goods moved from small shops and
homes to large factories.
THE
FOUR
INDUSTRIAL
REVOLUTIONS
IST INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

 From 1760 to 1840.

 Themanufacture of textiles and
the move of production from
homes to factories. Steam
power and the cotton gin
played an important role in this
period.
 Makingcloth moved from
homes to large factories.
2ND INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
 From 1840 to 1915.
 It was a period when advances in steel
production, electricity and petroleum
caused a series of innovations that
changed society.
 With the production of cost effective steel,
railroads were expanded and
more industrial machines were built.
 The introduction of public electricity led to
many inventions. Alexander Graham
Bell invented the telephone. Thomas
Edison and Joseph Swan finally
perfected the design of the light bulb etc.
3RD INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
 From 1915 to 2010.
 Also called technological
revolution.

Technology  :-
 Technology refers to methods,
systems, and devices which are
the result of scientific
knowledge being used for
practical purposes.
 In this revolution, the work takes
place on semiconductors,
mainframe computing, personal
computing, and Internet.
 Now in this era these inventions are
becoming the need of every single
person, and the technology is
merging in the environment.
4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
 From 2010 to onwards.
 It is the current period in which
we are living.
 Many revolutions are taking
place in the field of technology.
 Now technology is advancing
in artificial intelligence (AI),
robotics, the Internet of Things
(IoT), 3D printing, genetic
engineering, quantum
computing, and other
technologies
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) :-
 It is the science and engineering of making intelligent
machines, especially intelligent computer programs.
 It is related to the similar task of using computers to
understand human intelligence, by using logics and gates.

INTERNET OF THINGS :-
 A network of Internet connected objects able to collect and
exchange data." It is commonly abbreviated as IoT.
 In simple, "things" that sense and collect data and send it
to the internet. This data can be accessible by other
"things" too.

CLOUD COMPUTING :-
 Cloud computing means storing and accessing data and
programs over the Internet instead of your computer's hard
drive.
