• P6 Professional : An enterprise wide deployment for
the purpose of collaboration and project portfolio
management

• P6 EPPM: A cloud based software as service solution

backed by Oracle

• P6 Progress Reporter : Provides real time

communication between resources who perform task and
Project Manager who uses P6 professional / EPPM to plan
and manage projects
 Primavera Applications
• P6 Integration API : It is designed to run in local or
remote mode for simplifying the implementation and
maintenance of software

• P6 Web Services: Uses web services open standards to

enable developers to seamlessly integrate P6’s project
management functionality in other web based
applications

• P6 Analytics : It is a packaged BI solution that provides

valuable insight of your projects and portfolio in P6 EPPM
 Primavera Vs MS Project
• MS Project doesn't allow multiple users to work on a
single project at the same time, Primavera P6 does. MS
Project Server supports many projects at the same time,
but a user locks a project when it's in use

• In MS Project, 11 baselines can be created for a project.

In Primavera P6, unlimited baselines can be created

• MS Project lacks a feature for tracking project issues or

risks. Primavera P6 can record issues and risks against a
project, WBS element or activity.
 Primavera Vs MS Project
• Primavera P6 plans, documents and other information can be
converted to HTML directly from the software. MS Project
doesn’t have such options
• Primavera P6 allows you to create sub-activities (steps) of an
activity
• In addition to resource costs, Primavera P6 allows planned,
remaining and actual project expenses (training, travel etc) to be
entered at the activity level
• In Primavera P6, more than one type of relationship can be
established between activities
