Inquiry Question

• My inquiry question focused on many things I had

answers in most of the assignments.
• What was it like to work on a farm as a teenager?
• Most of the information that I had found was from family
or the internet.
My family's response

• The main people I decided to talk was my dad, aunts

and uncle. The main thing that I was able to take away
from what they told me was how they had fun helping
their grandfather (my great grandfather) on the farm.
• My aunts had told me how they all how certain things to
do. To be able to get the most stuff done in the day, all
of the grandchildren would be assigned to a certain task
for the day. Then my uncle said that they had learned
how to operate machinery and fix them as well.
What I found on the internet

• From what I had found on the internet, teenage farmers

would learn important lessons from working alongside
older family members. They had learned how to live off
the land and operate machinery.
• From the two accounts that I have, there are similarities
between them. Overall the life as a teenage farm was
fun in some accounts.
